English: Bog Road, Cors Fochno. Straight roads aren't always Roman. This was built in the early 19th century as part of the work to drain Cors Fochno (Borth Bog). The undulations in the road caused by uneven settling on the peat below provide a free alternative to a roller-coaster. |
