| Description |
English: The Bomford Mill, also known as the Pioneer Flour Mill, is located at 3261 K Street NW in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The original mill business was founded by businessman and Colonel George Bomford. The mill was built in 1847. The surviving portions of the mill have been incorporated into the Flour Mill Condominium development. The historic portions of the complex were added to the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites and are contributing properties to the Georgetown Historic District. |
