Summary edit

Description Graffiti on the toilet closure notice at Bonchurch Village Road, Bonchurch, Isle of Wight. From 1 April 2011, the Isle of Wight Council had closed these facilities to save money as part of funding cuts by central government. At the time however, they had also closed the toilets at Shore Road in Bonchurch, meaning there were none left for the village, adding to local anger. However, the toilets in Shore Road have now been re-opened and are being maintained by volunteers.
