Deutsch: Peter Christian Breuer/Friedrich Diederich: Beethoven - Rheinaue in Bonn (1926–1938)
Fredrich Diederich, ein langjähriger Mitarbeiter Breuers, führte die Figur Beethovens, die ursprünglich für ein großes Berliner Beethoven-Denkmal gepant war, in Granit aus. Erst nach Breuers Tod wurde diese Plastik im Jahr 1938 am „Alten Zoll“ in Bonn aufgestellt. 1949 trug man sie jedoch wieder ab, und erst 1977 entschied man sich erneut zu einer öffentlichen Präsentation der Figur. Seitdem ist die Plastik in der Bonner Rheinaue – leicht versteckt – zu sehen. Im Digitalen Archiv des de:Beethoven-Hauses heißt es zur Geschichte des Denkmals: |
