VAUGHAN S GIANT COLOSSAL ZINNIA 1 (MMIA California Giants In presenting the above type we offer a rare collection of striking and desirable colors. They are larger than Colossal and a cross between them and the Dahlia Flowered types. They have smaller flat centers with more loosely placed petals. The petals are decidedly imbricated and the flower from bud to full bloom presents a graceful appearance. Lemon Queen, the petals are light canary on the upper and cerise on the lower side, the two shades blending as the flower develops. It is the only Zinnia with fragrance. Orange King, similar in color to the Calendula of the same name. Orange Queen, lighter than Orange King. Purity, a clean pure white. Rose Queen, this flower opens first as bright rose with a deep rose red center and gradually develops into a warm deep rose when in full bloom. Trade pkt. Oz. Each of the above $0.20 $1.00 Dahlia Flowered This type is especially suited to greenhouse culture. Just a line to tell you about my pansies. I ordered l/t oz. of "Vaughan's Giant Pansy Mixture" and 1 oz. "New Early-Howering Giant Pansies" last September and planted them the last day of the month. By the tenth of January there was a lovely purple blossom open, and now there is one and two on almost every plant in the bed. Every one raves over them and wants plants from them. Am gaining more profit from my pansy bed than any other part of my business. They are planted outside and we have had a real Winter. Truly, MRS. E. E. POLK, Mgr., Quality Flower Shop.
