Deutsch: Wegekreuz (1744) an der NW-Ecke der Kreuzung Burg- und Wallrafstraße in Bornheim-Mitte. Der Sockel zeigt die Wappen der Familien Waldbott von Bassenheim (links vom Betrachter) und von Gymnich. Die Wappen befinden sich auch auf den folgenden Bornheimer Wegekreuzen: SW-Ecke der Kreuzung Reuterweg und Hordorfer Weg (1743, Bild), SO-Ecke der Kreuzung Königstraße und Rankenberg (1746, Wappen und Erläuterung), Ecke Breite Straße / Vinkelgasse (1747, Bild) sowie am Apostelpfad zwischen Zehnhoffstraße und Landgraben (ohne Jahreszahl, Bild). |
