Summary edit

Description
English: Boston Guildhall Museum. When the Pilgrim Fathers first attempted to escape religious persecution and flee to Holland from Scotia Creek (see TF3640) they were arrested and incarcerated in cells at Boston Guildhall. The cells and the courtroom above have been preserved, as the Guildhall (on South Street) is now a museum, but it is currently undergoing extensive renovation works which are not due to complete until 2007.
