Notes Whittome Stevenson, Newmarket glass sauce bottle Whittome Stevenson and Co Ltd (1881-1963) Carlton Gore Rd, Auckland Established, Auckland, 1881 - 1901; registered the name “condimenters”; recorded as producing 1000 gallons of vinegar, and about 100 gallons each of tomato sauce, apple sauce, worcester sauce and pickle per day. April 1963 – Whittomes (NZ) acquired by Cerebos (UK) 1964 (1967.) Whittome Stevenson name is changed to Cerebos Foods (New Zealand) Ltd. Earlier range of bottles include- pickle jars, sauce bottles, vinegar bottles, coffee bottles
