English: Boxing Day walkers at Formby Point. Beaches are not just for the summer visitor. Any day of the year there will be people walking on these sands, and on Boxing Day it is a popular way to walk off the Christmas lunch. View looking north, near low tide - the sea is almost a kilometre away but comes right up near the dunes at high tide. |
