Summary edit

Description
English: Cast iron mechanical bank. Depicts two African American boys stealing watermelons from a field guarded by a dog in a doghouse. To make a deposit, a coin is placed in the slot on top of the dog house. Pushing a lever moves the dog out of the house allowing the coin to fall. The action also animates the boys' arms. Manufactured by the Kyser and Rex Company from 1885 to 1895.
