English: Baseball was a popular sport for Seattle boys. Some played in clubs at their elementary schools, and many enjoyed pickup games at local ballfields and vacant lots.

This photo shows several young boys playing baseball at Lincoln Playfield on Capitol Hill, around 1910. This playfield became Broadway Playfield in 1922, and was renamed Bobby Morris Playfield in 1980.
