Description
English: Grave cross for the poet Otto Braun (1897-1918), at last Lieutenant and ordnance officer, awarded as Knight of the Iron Cross. His funeral took place in 1918 at the German military cemetery of Bayonvillers in the Départment Sommes, France. Later he was reburied and found his last rest on the parental estate in Erlenweg in Zehlendorf near Berlin. The grave with grave monument is preserved to this day. Today the place is part of the municipality of Kleinmachnow.
Deutsch: Grabkreuz für den Lyriker Otto Braun (1897–1918), zuletzt Leutnant und Ordonnanzoffizier, ausgezeichnet als Ritter des Eisernen Kreuzes. Seine Beisetzung erfolgte 1918 auf dem deutschen Soldatenfriedhof von Bayonvillers im Départment Sommes, Frankreich. Später wurde er umgebettet und fand auf dem elterlichen Anwesen im Erlenweg in Zehlendorf bei Berlin seine letzte Ruhe. Das Grab mit Grabmonument ist erhalten; der Erlenweg liegt heute jedoch in Kleinmachnow. Durch Parzellierung des einst großen Anwesens liegt das Grab heute auf einem Nachbargrundstück der Braun-Villa.

Later werd hij herbegraven en vond zijn laatste rust op het ouderlijk landgoed aan de Erlenweg in Zehlendorf bij Berlijn. Het graf met grafmonument is tot op de dag van vandaag bewaard gebleven. De straat behoort vandaag tot de stad Kleinmachnow.
