Deutsch: Die Pietà vom Ploon an der Gabelung Vinkelgasse und Bergkreuzweg in Brenig, Stadt Bornheim (der Ploon ist der Ortskern Brenigs). Das Heiligenhäuschen der Pietà, das unter der Gerichtslinde am Ploon gestanden hatte, wurde in den 1970ern bei Straßenarbeiten abgerissen. Die Pietà blieb verschollen, bis man sie 2000 im Keller der ehemaligen Schule am Gundula-Clasen-Platz beim Aufräumen entdeckte. Sie wurde restauriert und 2002 in dem aus Spenden finanzierten neuen Heiligenhäuschen wieder aufgestellt. Die Figurengruppe stammt vermutlich aus der zweiten Hälfte des 19. (oder der ersten des 20.) Jahrhunderts. |
