| Description |
English: Brent Geese on the River Exe Estuary Taken from on board the MV My Queen on an RSPB organised cruise. The mudbank in the Exe estuary is known as Greenland, and behind is the sunlit village of Topsham. The birds are the dark bellied form of the Brent Goose (Branta bernicla) that migrate to spend the winter here on the Exe. Their summers are spent in Arctic Europe, namely Siberia. |
