This meetinghouse is too small to accomm.odatethe people, and, like many of our houses, too farfrom town for the townsfolk to attend worship.Measures are being taken to build a new church inthe town. The principal or central meetinghouse of this con-gregation,—known as the Manor church,—wasbuilt in 1832 by brethren John Weaver and PeterShamel. The Annual Conference of 1857 was heldin this house.
