| Description |
English: Bridge to nowhere The bridge joins two small pieces of land which are completely cut off by water. Presumably it once carried the towpath which would have been used by craft coming down the Soar onto the Trent. (The pool is not in fact part of the river although it is connected via a culvert). The river level is high but by no means excessive for this time of year. |
