This view is looking SSW along the bridleway that runs alongside the agger (raised bank, on the right of the track, covered in bushes) of the Ackling Dyke Roman road. The setting winter solstice sun illuminates the wet grass with golden light, although the noise of the traffic on the nearby A354 intrudes on this rural setting. |
