Deutsch: Der Handelsreisende Gustav Wetschky aus Elberfeld schreibt am 31. Juli 1862 von Schönheide im Erzgebirge aus nach Annaberg an die Herren Heisen & Co. Der Poststempel vom 4. August [VIII] 1862 zeigt die damalige Schreibweise des Ortsnamens: SCHÖNHEYDA. Daneben findet sich ein Poststempel Eibenstock. Die Rückseite des Schreibens dient - richtig gefaltet - als Briefumschlag. Mit dem farblosen Briefsiegel, auf dem noch ein Prägung "GW" zu erkennen ist, war der Brief verschlossen.
