Abstract: Print shows the symbolic figure "Britannia" trampling two male figures identified as "Tyranny" and "Oppression" as the winged figure of the Greek goddess Arete, representing "Virtue", places a crown on her head. A scene in the background shows the destruction of the Spanish Armada in 1588. Physical description: 1 print : etching & engraving ; sheet 20.6 x 12.7 cm.
