This is looking southwest on Broad Street. Thomas Street runs west at an angle at right, resulting in a triangular building, and behind that Seattle Fire Station No. 4. The area to the right of Broad Street in this view would all eventually become part of Seattle Center. Fifth Avenue runs south at left, behind the first building at left.
