Summary edit

Description
English: Hurricane Katrina aftermath in New Orleans: Flood damaged Broadmoor neighborhood. Example of a common type of architecture in Broadmoor: In the early 20th century, houses in this low lying neighborhood were built raised up. After decades of no flooding, the area below the raised living space was walled in to create what locals term a "basement". Note Flood lines.
