Deutsch: Im Jahr 1972 wurden zwei griechische Bronzestatuen aus der Zeit von 460 bis 430 v.Chr. auf dem Meeresgrund nahe Riace Marina in Kalabrien in Italien gefunden. Seit 1981 sind sie im Museo Nazionale Di Reggio Calabria zu besichtigen. Die Statuen sind auf erdbebensicheren Podesten aufgestellt.
English: In the year 1972 two bronze statues from greece dating back to 460 until 430 b.c. were found on the bottom of the Ionic Sea near Riace Marina in Calabria in Italy. Since 1981 they are on view in the Museo Nazionale Di Reggio Calabria. The statues are put up on earthquake-proof platforms.
Italiano: Nel 1972 sul fondo del mar jonio nei pressi di Riace Marina in Calabria furono rinvenute due statue bronzee di provenienza greca databili tra il 460 e il 430 a.C. Dal 1981 sono esposte al Museo Nazionale Di Reggio Calabria. Le statue sono collocate su delle piattaforme anti-sismiche.
