English: Brotherton Wing Leeds General Infirmary Opened in 1940 for patients who could not afford a Private Nursing Home but not poor enough to go into hospital. In March 1941 a bomb dropped on the entrance through to the foundations but luckily did not explode and fortunately no one was injured. |
