Getting ready for its flight to LGW, the BC service operated a couple of times a day to the second London airport. And two odd painted props on this old bird. Looking at this pic I notice in the background the huge earthworks for the current airport terminal. There used to be some factory structures which are visible in some of my other BHX pics. A very young NEC is just visible in the far right corner. Nice time spent at Aston |
