For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Ein interessantes neuartiges Raketenfahrzeug, welches mit dem ersten und grössten Flüssigkeits-Raketen-Motor der Welt ausgestattet ist, machte seine ersten Versuche in Britz (Gradestraße 107) bei Berlin. Der Antrieb erfolgt mittels flüssiger Luft. Man nennt diesen neuen Raketenwagen den "Höllenhund", weil er bei seinem Verbrennungsvorgang einen Höllenlärm verursacht. Seine Anfangsgeschwindigkeit soll 185 km. in der Stunde betragen. Der "Höllenhund" mit dem ersten Flüssigkeits-Raketenmotor der Welt auf dem Prüfstand der Heylandt-Werke in Berlin-Britz. Man sieht deutlich die zischende Flamme. |

L'imprenditore e scienziato Paul Heylandt presenta alla stampa internazionale un'automobile con motore a razzo, dotata di propulsore sperimentale pensato per l'impiego spaziale, alimentato da una miscela di alcool e ossigeno liquido e progettato dall'ingegner Altons Pietsch. Il successivo 3 maggio, sulla pista dell'aeroporto berlinese di Tempelhof, venne effettuata una dimostrazione portando la vettura alla velocità di 80 mph, mantenuta per 14 minuti. |
