For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Calbe, DS-Sportschule, Lehrgang für Sportler Illus Biscan Hein-Nb. 12.4.1951 Die Schwerathletik-Schule "Werner Seelenbinder" in Calbe-Saale. Die DS-Sportschule für Schwerathleten "Werner-Seelenbinder" hilft den Schwerathleten in der DDR neue Bestleistungen zu erzielen und einen starken Nachwuchs heranzubilden. Bisher stellten die Gewichtheber-Elite 47 und die Rasen-Krafsportler 9 neue Rekorde auf. UBz: Der Anatomieunterricht ist auch für den Schwertathleten wichtig, denn jeder Sportler muß seinen Körperbau kennen.
