For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Fachschule für Bauwesen Illus TBD 27.11.1951 Fachschule für Bauwesen in Erfurt. Die Fachschule für Bauwesen in Erfurt, Schlüterstrasse besteht seit dem Jahre 1901 und konnte im Oktober ds. Jahres ihr 50-jähriges Bestehen feiern.- In den letzten Tagen vor Kriegsende wurde die Fachschule durch amerikanische Bomben stark zerstört, doch bereits im Herbst 1947 konnten 180 Studenten ihr Studium an der Fachschule wieder aufnehmen. Heute ist das Gebäude wieder vollständig hergestellt und die Zahl der Studenten auf 400 gestiegen. UBz: Die Fachschule für Bauwesen in Erfurt, Schlüterstr.
