ADN-ZB Lehmann 28.5.86 Halle: Vorbereitung der Händelfestspiele - Händelhaus. Das Hallenser Geburtshaus Georg Friedrich Händels bietet auf einer Ausstellungsfläche von 350 Quadratmeter umfangreiche Informationen über Leben, Werk und Wirkung dieses großen deutschen Komponisten. Zum 300. Geburtstag des Künstlers im Jahre 1985 war der Gebäudekomplex restauriert worden. Das Memorialmuseum beherbergt heute einen Teil der Sammlung historischer Musikinstrumente sowie 6.000 Bände einer musikwissenschaftlichen Spezialbibliothek. Im Kammermusiksaal und in den Innenhöfen finden Konzerte statt. - siehe 17, 18n - |
