Berlin, Märkisches Museum ADN-ZB Settnik 17-7-86 Berlin: Am Köllnischen Park steht der rote Klinkerbau des Märkischen Museums, des Kulturhistorischen Museums der Stadt Berlin. Es wurde 1874 auf Anregung von Virchow und Stadtrat Friedel gegründet. 1908 erhielt es sein eigenes Gebäude, dessen Turm und Giebel Stadtbaumeister Ludwig Hoffmann nach märkischen Motiven gestaltete. Vor Kurzem beging das Haus sein 40jähriges Jubiläum nach der Wiedereröffnung. Es war das erste Museum das nach dem Krieg den Besuchern zugänglich gemacht wurde.
