For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Hirndorf-28.10.1987-Erfurt: In dieser Bezirksstadt bilden mittelalterlicher, rekonstruierter Stadtkern und Neubauten eine reizvolle Einheit. Weltberühmt ist die Krämerbrücke über der Gera, auf der 32 Häuser stehen. Im Mittelalter boten hier Krämer ihre Waren feil. Und auch heute noch arbeiten hier Künstler und Kusthandwerker, Handwerker und Händler. |
