Zentralbild TBD-Schmidt 27.1.1954 VEB Schwermaschinenbau "Henry Pels" Erfurt. Der Schwermaschinenbau "Henry Pels" in Erfurt ist einer der 33 Betriebe, die am 1. Januar 1954 von der Regierung der Sowjetunion dem deutschen Volke übergeben wurden. Das Werk liefert Scheren zum Schneiden von Blechen bis zu 40 mm Stärke und 4.000 mm Länge, Knüppelschweren zum Zertrennen von Stahlblöcken im kalten Zustande bis zu 260 qmm und für noch größere Blöcke in heissem Zustand. Ferner werden hier Kurbelpressen für Drücke bis zu 1250 zahlreiche Spezialmaschinen für die Ausrüstung von Walzwerken, Schiffswerften, Eisenbahnwerkstätten und Eisenkonstruktionsbetrieben gebaut. UBz: Das Rohteillager des Werkes. Die Materialvorräte gewährleisten einen ständigen, systematischen Arbeitsablauf. Die gesamte Lagerfläche wird von Brückenkränen bedient. |
