Zentralbild Quasch. 21-Ko. 35 Motive 30.9.1955 Von den Arbeiten am Kokskombinat "Schwarze Pumpe". "Der Bau des Kombinats ist in drei Baustufen geplant. Es werden jeweils drei in sich geschlossene Werke nebeneinander gestellt. Jedes Werk wird erhalten: Die Kohlenaufbereitung, die Brikettfabrik, das Kraftwerk und die Kokerei. Die Rohstoffgrundlage für die Entwicklung dieses Kombinates sind die Tagebaue Burghammer, Welzow-Süd, Stradow und Nochten. Diese Tagebaue werden aufgeschlossen und erweitert. Neben dem Bau des Kombinats und der Entwicklung der Tagebaue wird sich als dritter großer Komponent in diesem Plan die Entstehung einer moderenen sozialistischen Stadt im Anschluss an die Altstadt Hoyerswerde als Kernproblem im Bezirk Cottbus ergeben."
