For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Semper-Galerie, Aufgangshalle Zentralbild Höhne-Pohl 21.4.1956 Aufbau der Semper - Galerie geht weiter voran. Nachdem die Aussenarbeiten nahezu vollendet sind, wird nun besonders an der Innengestaltung der Semper - Galerie in Dresden gearbeitet. Die Wände in der Galerie werden nicht geputzt, sondern erhalten eine isolierende imprägnierte Spezialtäfelung, die mit Stoffen überspannt wird, UBz: In der Aufgangshalle sind jetzt die originalgetreu wieder hergestellten kunstvollen Stuckarbeiten zu sehen.
