For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Sturm Stu-Qu 21.3.1959 1959 eine Million Tonnen Stahl aus Brandenburg Die Stahlwerker des größten Stahlproduzenten unserer Republik im VEB Stahl- und Walzwerk Brandenburg wollen als Beitrag zur Lösung der ökonomischen Hauptaufgabe in der DDR bis Jahresende eine Million Tonnen Stahl erzeugen. Die Kumpel in Brandenburg haben sich die Aufgabe gestellt, bis zum 1. Mai fünf Tage und jeden weiteren Monat je einen Tag Planvorsprung zu erreichen. Die bisherigen Erfolge und die weiteren hohen Aufgabenstellungen waren unter anderem durch die Ausnutzung aller vorhandenen Reserven möglich. Allein durch die Verkürzung der Anheizzeit der Öfen nach einer Reparatur können 10 000 Tonnen Stahl erzeugt werden. UBz. Die Kumpel der Gießgruben III und X im Stahlwerk kämpfen um den Titel "Brigade der sozialistischen Arbeit". Sie haben die anderen Gießgruben aufgerufen, ihrem Beispiel zu folgen. Kollege Paul Rosowski beobachtet das Füllen der Kokillen." |
