Eric Victor Neff Zentralbild Kilian 16.2.1961 Training hat begonnen Kaum sind die letzten Hammerschläge in der Berliner Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle verhallt, drehen bereits die Rennfahrer auf der Winterbahn ihre ersten Trainingsrunden. Am Sonntag, den 19.2.1961, wird die Radsport-Hallensaison feierlich eröffnet. UBz: Unter den Teilnehmern befindet sich als erster ausländischer Gast der amerikanische Student Eric Victor Neff (22 Jahre), Verfolgungsmeister von San Francisco. Neff äußerte den Wunsch, die ganze Saison über in Berlin zu bleiben.
