For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Admannshagen, Meliorationsarbeiten Zentralbild Karnitzki 21.9.1964 Bezirk Rostock: 46 Hektar Neuland für die LPG in Admannshagen Eine seit Jahren völlig versumpfte 45 Hektar große Fläche wird gegenwärtig durch Arbeiter des VEB Meliorationsbau, Außenstelle Bad Doberan, für die LPG in Admannshagen, Kreis Bad Boderan, trocken gelegt. In Abständen von etwa 20 Metern werden Sauggräben gezogen (auf unserem Foto mit der Großmaschine ATG 589000, die gleichzeitig Dränagerohre verlegt), die mit Sammel- und Vorflutgräben verbunden sind. Nach dem Weideumbruch und anschließender Aussaat von Klee- und Mischgrad soll hier für die Genossenschaft ein neues Weidekombinat entstehen.
