For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Ludwig-9.5.1972-la-Bez. Erfurt: Mehr pflegeleichte Obertrikotagen-Stricker Helmut Alexi aus dem Apoldaer Stammbetrieb des Thüringer Obertrikatagenkombinats produziert an der Rundläufermaschine das Grundmaterial (Gestrick) für die weitere Fertigung. Mit hoher Garnausnutzung und Qualitätsarbeit leistet er seinen Beitrag an der Verwirklichung der hohen Wettbewerbsziele des Betriebes. Durch sparsamsten Garneinsatz, ökonomischen Zuschnitt, volle Nutzung der Arbeitszeit und schnelle Umsetzung von Neuerervorschlägen wollen die Werktätigen 120.000 Obertrikotagen zusätzlich zum Plan 72 herstellen.
