For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Ludwig-12.3.76-Bez. Erfurt: Was hier wie ein mittlerer Industriebau aussieht, sind neue Gewächshäuser für das VEG Saatzucht-Zierpflanzen Erfurt, Betrieb Mittelhausen. Mit einer Anbaufläche von bisher 120.000 m² unter Glas und Folie ist der Betrieb einer der größten Gewächshausanlage der DDR. Facharbeiter des Landtechnischen Anlagenbaus Mihla haben den weiteren planmäßigen Ausbau bis 1980 übernommen. Bisher 160 Tonnen Treibgemüse haben die Werktätigen seit Jahresbeginn im gesamten Bezirk Erfurt an Handel und Gaststätten geliefert. Der Betrieb in Mittelhausen hat hohen Anteil daran. Aus seiner spezialisierten Produktion kommen hochwertige Gemüsesorten und Blumenzüchtungen. |
