English: Silk lampas (compound weave) fragment found in El Burgo de Osma, patterned with confronted fantastical animals (approx. one full repeat unit is visible in this fragment). Of disputed place of manufacture; contains an inscription claiming it was 'woven in the city of Baghdad, may God protect it'.
