December 31, 2005 Burleigh Falls, Ontario Canada is located on the Trent-Severn Waterway, in southern Ontario. It lies on the outer, southern edge of the Canadian Shield. From Wikipedia: «The Trent Canal also known as the Trent–Severn Waterway is a canal in southeastern Ontario, Canada that connects Lake Huron with Lake Ontario. It is a 386 km system with roughly 32 km of manmade channels. It features 36 conventional locks, two sets of flight locks, two hydraulic lift locks.» At this junction the canal links Stony and Lovesick Lakes.
