Description Portions of a 1909 Burlington time table/brochure detailing its service to Seattle beginning in Chicago and St. Louis. While the train known as the en:Oriental Limited kept the same name east and westbound, the en: North Coast Limited had that name in 1909 only when it was eastbound. It was known as the Northern Pacific Express when going west. The Puget Sound Express traveled from Seattle to St. Louis but was called the Missouri River Express going east. The Northwest Express traveled from Seattle to St. Louis, but was the Southeast Express when heading west.
