Summary edit
DescriptionBurn descending from the heights of Bennanbrach, Galloway - geograph.org.uk - 1590001.jpg |
English: Burn descending from the heights of Bennanbrach, Galloway This is the point at which the burn is culverted beneath the Southern Upland Way, west of Loch Dee. The descent of the hillside requires care as it is rough and steep. One can undertake a strenuous climb up here and over the hills above Loch Trool to descend at the other (west) side to reach the Caldons camp siteNX 401 789. (It is a lot easier to follow the track around the southern shore of the loch!) |
