Description
English: London traffic at the west end of the Strand heading west, about to enter Trafalgar Square. In view are two buses sandwiching a lorry, plus a motorcylce with sidecar and a car, perhaps a London Taxi?. The buses are AEC NS-Type double-deckers of the London General Omnibus Company, the nearest being the early open top type, the other being the later type with a closed roof. The building is 'The Grand ?' office block and shopping arcade that stands on the corner of Strand and Northumberland Avenue. The block still stands in 2012, but the 'Grand' name has since dissappeared.
