Description
English: Bronze bust of polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd (October 25, 1888 – March 11, 1957). The bust was made by Thomas V. Johnston and is part of the New Zealand National Memorial to Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd. Erected in 1962 on Mount Victoria, Wellington, New Zealand.
Deutsch: Bronzebüste des Polarforschers Richard Evelyn Byrd (25. Oktober 1888 - 11. März 1957). Die Büste wurde von Thomas V. Johnston erschaffen und ist Teil des Denkmals New Zealand National Memorial to Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd. Das Denkmal wurde 1962 auf dem Hügel Mount Victoria in Wellington, Neuseeland errichtet.
