Summary edit

Description
English: By Smestow Brook near Seisdon, Staffordshire Seen from ten metres west of the bridge in Post Office Road. The depth marker by the brook is used to assist forecasting for flood warnings to properties further south. No rain (and not much snow) had fallen in the week before this image was obtained. As is usual by the brook, the flood plain is used for grazing when flooding is not forecast. There were no animals present when this image was obtained. The Smestow Brook has its source in the Springfield area, to the north-east of Wolverhampton city centre. It flows into the River Stour at Stewponey, near Kinver. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smestow_Brook.
