Description

Bygging av jernbanebru over Fossingelva i Åsen. På bildet over ser vi en del av arbeidsstokken på den halvferdige brua, og deler av den nødvendige forskalinga. Stein til brua ble tatt ut i et brudd ved Skjelstad, og de totale byggekostnadene lød på kr. 65.000. Jernbanen gjennom bygda ble åpnet i 1902. I bakgrunnen skimtes Marieborg (Marienborg), Fossum handelssted og Åsen meieri.
