Description
Português: O Cântaro é um Nunatak - forma de relevo que foi posta em evidência pela erosão devido à ação Glaciária. Esta forma de relevo durante a glaciação não esteve coberto pelo Glaciar emergindo acima da sua superfície.

Esta forma de relevo destaca-se pela erosão diferencial.

Junto ao Cântaro Magro pode-se encontrar outra formação - a “Rua dos Mercadores” - uma fenda profunda e estreita bem definida entre paredes abruptas. Ocorreu devido a um fenómeno geológico de erosão mais evidente pelo facto de esta zona ser composta por rocha dolerítica (composição mineralógica semelhante ao basalto), menos resistente aos fatores erosivos que o granito encaixante.
