Description
English: Airmen unload a C-17 Globemaster III from the 15th Airlift Wing at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, during the Humanitarian Assistance Rapid Response Team validation exercise Sept. 2, 2009 on Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia. The HARRT is the Air Force's new expeditionary medical capability designed to deploy within 24 hours of notice during disaster relief operations. The team can set up a fully-operational medical clinic within six hours after landing and treat 350 to 500 patients per day.
