Deutsch: Die Kreuzung I ist Teil der Kurzverbindung im Bahnhof Engelsdorf zwischen den Strecken ESch/6369 Wahren–Engelsdorf (im Bild) und LD/6363 Leipzig–Dresden. Die ebenfalls hier eingebundene Strecke EP/6372 (Gleis 5) von Paunsdorf wurde beim Umbau 2001 abgebunden. Die Kurzverbindung wurde 1973 eingebaut, um Güterzüge, die in Engelsdorf nicht behandelt werden müssen, am Güterbahnhof vorbeizuleiten. Seit 2013 wird sie ebenfalls von den S-Bahn-Zügen befahren. Mit dem Ausbau für 80 km/h musste die vorher starre Kreuzung mit einer Neigung von 1:9 aus geometrischen Gründen eine Bogenkreuzung werden. Die Weichen 303 und 304 im Hintergrund sind seitdem EW 54-760-1:14,5. Bei Neigungen über 1:9 müssen die Doppelherzstücke in Kreuzungsmitte bewegliche Spitzen erhalten, weil die führungslose Stelle sonst zu groß wird. |
