English: E13.5 wild type brains were transfected by ex vivo electroporation with pTα-Cre , pTα-LPL-LynN-EGFP , and pTα-LPL-H2B-RFP . Neuronal migration was analyzed in cortical slices by live cell imaging beginning at 30 h after transfection (t = 0 h). The movie shows a multipolar neuron that tangentially extends out a trailing axon (t = 8 h) followed by formation of a leading process (t = 12–16 h) and the transition to a bipolar morphology. |
